Is there an entrance fee?+
No — the festival is open to the public and free of charge. All talks, recitals, the runway show and the stand area are open to everyone.
Where and when is the festival?+
August 16-18, 2026 in Datça (Muğla). The main festival grounds are at Palamutbükü — the opening, stands, talks and recitals take place there, about a 25-minute drive from Datça centre. On day three the festival moves to ancient Knidos for the designers' gathering and the “Palimpsest” runway show.
Do I need to register for workshops?+
No pre-registration for now; limited-capacity workshops run first come, first served. Any change will be announced on the site banner and via notifications — enable them with the bell button on the home page.
How do I get to Datça?+
The nearest airports are Dalaman and Milas-Bodrum (~2.5 hours). Regular minibuses run from Marmaris, and summer ferries from Bodrum. Details on the Visitor Guide page.
Is there a shuttle to Knidos?+
Transport arrangements will be announced. There is a car park at Knidos for those driving; the road takes about 20 minutes from the festival grounds at Palamutbükü, or 45 minutes from Datça centre.
Is it suitable for children?+
Yes — the festival is family friendly. Craft workshops and open-air events welcome children.
Is the festival accessible?+
The main festival area is planned to be step-free and accessible. The terrain at ancient Knidos is uneven; write to us in advance about your needs and we will do our best.
Can I bring my pet?+
Leashed pets are generally fine in open areas; please be considerate at busy times and around kitchen/workshop areas.
What about the August heat?+
Daytime can reach 35°C: bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle, and use shaded areas. Comfortable shoes are essential for the morning hike (7 AM, Carian Trail).
I want to rent a stand — what should I do?+
Fill in the pre-application form on the Stands page. No payment is needed at this stage; the festival team reviews your application and calls you. Priority goes to women's cooperatives.
When and how do I pay the stand fee?+
No payment is made during pre-application. If your application is accepted, the festival team contacts you, requests the participation fee and sends you the bank details together with a personal receipt-upload link. Your application is confirmed once you have paid and uploaded your receipt via that link.
