Owner of the district's first rag-rug weaving atelier in Datça's Reşadiye neighbourhood. A third-generation weaver, Buse Akyel learned the craft from her grandmother Birgül and works on a roughly hundred-year-old wooden loom, recycling worn-out fabrics into kilims and bags.
