A 1992 graduate of GATA Military Medical Academy, he was a visiting scholar at Stanford University in 2005-2006. He chaired the Department of Endocrinology at SBÜ Gülhane Faculty of Medicine from 2020 to 2022, and is author or co-author of over 200 international scientific papers.
